Mallia Salon & Spa is the vision of owner and master stylist Jackie Messman Peak. Creative, versatile, and passionate about her craft, Jackie has established herself as one of the top local hairstylists in the Baltimore Metro area over the last twenty years.

As a stylist, she is a firm believer that changing your hair can change your life. While Jackie is an expert in all hair colors, cuts, and designs, the “Baltimore Blonde” is her signature style. She has spent years immersing herself in education focusing on imaginative color concepts with a healthy haircare mindset. Jackie takes you on a journey and opens your eyes to the possibility of making your blonde ambitions a reality.
As a business owner, it was her dream to open an upscale salon in Baltimore County where the vibe is fresh, modern, and inviting. A place where clients can leave their worries at the door and can sit back, relax, and enjoy being pampered.

She insisted upon creating a safe and collaborative environment for her stylists to learn and grow, where they are happy, passionate, and encouraged to incorporate their creativity into each and every masterpiece.

Jackie continues to reinvent herself as a stylist and an educator and does so with confidence, patience, compassion, and purpose.

The industry has not just taught her to be an excellent stylist, but more flexible, empathetic and patient. Outside of the salon is where Jackie plays her most important role – the devoted mother to her two children, Vivian, and Dylan.

Her favorite part of her profession is making people feel confident and beautiful! She loves being a listening ear, and cares deeply for her clientele! In her free time she loves spending time with her family and animals, or reading a good book.
CONNIE JONES

Connie is a Master Hair Stylist/ Colorist with over 24 years of experience. She enjoys working with all forms of color services and hair extensions. During her journey in this industry, she has become certified in Goldwell, Wella, and Babe hair extensions.
Connie's passion and creative vision for the beauty industry has kept her excited and up to date with current trends and she strives for excellence and perfection in all of her work. She enjoys listening to her clients stories and adventures while they are in her chair. When she is out of the salon, she enjoys spending time with her large family and engaging in physical activities. She loves CrossFit, bike riding, hiking on trails and beautiful days on a beach!

I have always loved art and couldn't see myself having a career that doesn’t let me express my creativity. I have spent many years perfecting my craft, and am very passionate about short hair. I love mixing traditional barbering and classic cutting techniques to create a style unique to my clients. My goal is to make every single client that walks out of the salon feel like a million bucks! I always make sure to stay on top of the latest hair trends and color. I am a Certified cosmetologist with extensive training with Goldwell and Wella. In my free time, I enjoy interior decorating and gardening

I fell in love with the hair industry as a young girl and began my career in 2008. I am passionate about providing low maintenance beautiful hair color, and specialize in hand painted balayage.
Recently I added a certification of hand tied extensions to make my clients long hair dreams a reality. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family, cook, read, and do anything crafty.

Ashley is a graduate of Robert Paul Academy of Cosmetology in 2012, and is now celebrating 10 years in the hair beauty industry. "I feel incredibly blessed that I have found a career that resonates with me so perfectly. As a stylist, I believe honesty, patience, creativity, along with hard work, functions together to produce a beautiful end result for my clients."

Ashley is a color specialist, specializing in blondes, trendy highlighting techniques, balayage, double processes/ global blonding, and multi-dimensional color. Her vast knowledge of the industry and love of her craft makes her a sought after stylist.

Fun facts: Ashley assisted with the Award- winning and legendary Martin Parson, at the Baltimore Hair Show in 2014. Ashley is a loving wife, and proud Mama of three amazing kiddos.

Following his passion for helping others and combining it with a love for the salon industry, Tyler has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2010, with multiple certifications along the way from Aveda, Graham Webb Academy, and Paul Mitchell.
Constantly working on improving his skills and keeping up with the latest trends, Tyler excels in Men’s cuts & Fades, Long Hair, Balayage/Highlights, Color, and Keratin treatments.

Also known as Drew, she graduated from Von Lee International School of Aesthetics in 2001. Her passion for skin care started with her love of a makeup. Makeup artistry was the initial spark that lit a fire in her to become a passionate esthetician that could help people love the skin they're in. Her passion for skin care then led to love for waxing and designing brows.

In her years of experience in esthetics, Dursilla has worked in medical settings with dermatologists and in retail with Chanel and Ulta Beauty. She has continued her education with training in Dermalogica and Aveda product lines. She has discovered her love of treating skin more organically at Mallia by using the product lines Iike Organic Skincare & SkinScriptRx that are more natural for skincare.
Dursilla has been a part of the Mallia Team since 2018 and looks forward to continually building relationships to help people in their skin journey.

Allowing the opportunity to offer clients all our spa facials/treatments, waxing, makeup and more!
She will make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and give you the true spa pampering experience all while achieving results that will make you look and feel great.
